Our Finance department is headed by Karen, who serves as our Accounting Manager. Following the restructuring implemented in 2021, she spearheaded the successful implementation and utilisation of Sage 200 and Sage Payroll in our business operations.

About Karen

After graduating with a Business Studies degree from Newcastle University, she dedicated 8 years to working in the Construction Industry as a Quantity Surveyor. Between 2010 and 2013, she excelled in the Commercial department of Deerness Fencing & Landscaping.

Her passion lies in identifying the root cause of problems and implementing necessary changes to find solutions. Upon returning to the company as a Consultant in 2020, she fearlessly introduced the "Big Change" system (a Job Management Platform) to both the Repairs & Maintenance and Customer Care departments.

Thanks to the implementation of Big Change, the company has experienced remarkable results in terms of streamlining administration, planning, scheduling, and tracking of work. By eliminating tedious paperwork, it offers a straightforward and efficient way to keep the office in sync with ongoing operations.
