Meet David

David is a seasoned civil engineer and refurbishment quantity surveyor with a wealth of experience gained during his time at Esh Group. Starting as an apprentice, he quickly climbed the ranks to become a QS while simultaneously completing his BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying.

In 2025, David was promoted to Commercial Manager, reflecting his exceptional leadership and commercial expertise. Currently, he exemplifies outstanding commercial acumen in all his work, prioritising strong relationships with clients and their teams on site while consistently delivering the highest standards of quality, service, and business performance.

David assesses valuations for clients and provides detailed project performance reports to the commercial director, all while managing risks and ensuring commercial viability. As a valuable member of the business management team, he has proven himself to be a crucial asset to the Deerness family.
